We would recommend this condo for one or two people
Very comfortable condo for a couple staying in downtown Winnipeg. We didn't mind the twenty to thirty minute walk to the hockey games, the ballet at the concert hall, Portage and Main, the Museum of Human Rights, and the Forks. Public transit and cabs are an option if you don't want to walk or if it is cold out. The condo had a comfortable bed, shower/bathtub, washer and drier (so we were able to pack lightly),full kitchen (so we bought some groceries and had our breakfasts at home before heading out for the day). The bedroom is upstairs so you need to be ok going up and down the full set of stairs.
The TV controls were a little tricky. Overall we were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay.
Clean and quiet. Good location
Our stay at the condo worked out great for us. The location on the river made getting to our planned events easy. Parking was easy too. The condo was clean and provided all our needs for a comfortable stay.
A very nice 2-story apartment that is comfortable for two people. Anymore would be a bit of a crowd. The apartment is well furnished and appropriated with everything you'd need for an extended stay: TV, WiFi, Bluetooth speaker, all the kitchen appliances, cutlery and crockery. The overall flavour is "industrial modern chic" with a touch of Ikea. There is a designated covered parking spot and the condo complex is well lit, clean, well maintained and feels secure. The stairs from the main floor up to the bedroom are steep and wouldn't be suitable for those with compromised mobility issues.
The location doesn't lend itself overly well ( as some others have noted) for easy convenience on foot: Grocery shopping requires a drive to get to and while the downtown restaurant core can be walked to, it is an appreciable one. That said, the apartment is mere steps away from the riverfront (waterfront) pathway and it's a leisurely 15-20 minutes of scenic walking to the Forks, the ballpark and the museums and attractions around that area. It's very nice in that sense during sunny weather. Speaking of sunny weather, the private top floor sun deck/patio is a delight!!
Corrie was great to deal with and we enjoyed our stay. I feel it is very reasonably priced and I'd recommend this listing.
Nice Stay...Not as Close to Downtown as Advertised
We enjoyed our stay here. The place was adequate, the unit was well equipped for the two of us, and the communication was quick and easy with the hosts. The only thing we didn't care for was the overall location. The venue was not quite as close to downtown as the advertisement made it sound although still walkable, it is right on the edge of where the touristy downtown area starts to look a little more industrial. We didn't feel very comfortable walking back at night, as walking pretty much anywhere was over 20 minutes, so we drove everywhere. The unit is equipped with good WiFi for those that will need it (15 Mb/s). Overall, the stay was good and the apartment was well but the area seemed a little sketchy. We never ran into anyone that bothered us, but it was definitely a little uncomfortable upon first arrival. If you don't mind driving, this place is a good stay. The rooftop seats were really great.
Enjoyed my stay at the Waterfront unit..was very nice to be so close to the trail along the river..

Great central location and very comfortable!
We stayed in Corie and Mark's condo for 4 nights last month while visiting Winnipeg to meet our first grandchild. It was very comfortable and well equipped and although the weather wasn't really conducive, an easy walking distance from the warehouse district / downtown. We would definitely recommend this location / unit to others looking for unique accommodation in a central Winnipeg location.
