Great location and value. Lots of little essentials and a super host
We stayed 5 nights,we used the bicycles for shopping. We had several dinners in the cottage, well equipped kitchen with various condiments.
Great location close to the lake and Ryerson Park
Perfect for a sisters vacation
From our arrival to our departure we felt welcomed and pampered. Fireplace lit, wine gift, bathrobes, books, Netflix and a well equipped kitchen. Space for luggage, many hooks and hangers and plenty of bathroom storage.
We took evening walks along Lake Ontario and met many of the residents. The home ownership pride was evident at every house. The weather was cool and rain/misty lending itself to spectacular sunset pictures.
We were within walking distance to NOTL old town, but drove during our stay because of the weather. There were bicycles available as well.
Diane reached out to us during our stay to ensure our vacation was easy and any questions about our home and NOTL were answered.
We hadn’t been to NOTL for 20 years but will definitely try to book this gem next time we come.
a little bit of heaven
everything was terrific... such a beautiful cottage... and the music was
so enjoyable ... as was the information as to restaurants and local
points of interest... love NOTL and try to visit twice a year!... we will be back!
Unbelievably comfy and quaint
This property exceeded our expectations. When we walked through the door for the first time, a fire was glowing, relaxing music was playing and a bottle of wine was waiting in the kitchen. Nothing is overlooked here - well stocked kitchen and bathroom, beautiful furnishings, plenty of excellent books, magazines and DVDs, to name a few. Two bicycles are available as well. The home is beautifully decorated and so comfortable, you’ll never want to leave. It’s a hop, skip and a jump to Lake Ontario and is located in the heart of Niagara wine country. Consistent communication from the owner. This place is perfectly suited for couples.
The Flying Cloud exceeded my expectations, was a Wonderful Birthday surprise for my partner. The owners supplied the cottage with everything you could need! Beautiful setting, Cozy, Relaxing, perfect getaway!
A relaxing and comfortable stay.
My wife, son and I had a wonderful stay at this cottage. We were impressed with the amount of great details the owner put into setting up the cottage for us as well as the detail in decor to make us feel comfortable. Our visit was in March and the weather was a bit chilly still. The owner knew this and encouraged us to use the fireplace to keep warm. In the evenings, my family and I enjoyed the very short walk to the lake shore to enjoy the sun sets. Our son is in 4th grade in the States, and has just learned about the war of 1812, so visiting the forts nearby, where a lot of the war occurred, brought another level of understanding and education for him. Overall, the stay at the cottage was very relaxing for us and the owner made sure of that.
