Location, Location, Location!
The views from this property are stunning, making it hard to leave. Access to Santa Fe or any other adventure you want to go on couldn’t be easier from this tucked away, private location. The home is charming and cozy. It is an older property which adds to its character and it was clearly a much loved home. It doesn’t have air conditioning and some of the windows and screens are in need of repair, but it was remarkable how quickly the home cooled off at night, even in August. We will definitely go back and hope to stay longer on our next visit.
Stunning, lovely and serene.
George and Donna are amazing hosts. Their home is off the beaten path and overlooks the mountains. We wanted to host a small event there and asked for permission. Not only did they agree, but they asked how they could help. The home is lovely and has plenty of supplies for cooking. Beautiful.patios to enjoy the sunset with.. will be back for sure. Best rental ever.
Charming Retreat with amazing views just 10 minutes outside Santa Fe
Lovely little Casita, very comfortable and welcoming. We had everything we needed to make our stay relaxing. On a rainy day we explored the bookshelves, lots of books of local interest. Location was wonderful for us, easy 10 minute drive downtown Santa Fe. Quiet, woke up to birdsong, sunrises over the mountain. Our stay was for two weeks, the casita made a wonderful home base from which to hike and explore.
Adequate For our needs.
The location of the property was great the views were beautiful and the neighborhood was very quiet and nice. The guest house itself was small but still very warm. We loved the fireplace in the living room. And the owner provided us with enough firewood and kindling to have a fire every night we were there. The clutter in the closet, the bathrooms and the showers made it very uncomfortable. It was hard to unpack anything and put any of our personal hygiene in the bathroom. The kitchen was cluttered but we did squeeze our stuff in there. But the frozen food in the freezer was a little disconcerting. I would think that VRBO would have some kind of rule about leaving leftover food around. The fact that you could not Open the bathroom or closet doors all the way should be an indicator that there was too much stuff about. We would stay here again if we could not find another place.
