I want to start by saying the location was wonderful, especially if you have small children. It is about 10-ish minutes from Hallendale Beach and right across the street from a great park. The space is small, but workable for a week getaway. However, it is advertised as a space that sleeps 6 because it has two couches in the living room, but the couches are not comfortable enough to sleep on, so really it can only sleep four people. Further, the people staying at this place should be comfortable with each other because the two beds are in the same room, only devided by a small space. The house was clean and had most everything a person would need. I will say that whoever stayed before us, did not wash the dishes properly, but we were provided Dawn soap and a clean sponge, so we took care if that. Overall, we got exactly what was advertised. The only thing that was a little frustrating was the washer/dryer situation. We packed very light prepared to wash and dry our clothes, however, once we got there we realized it was a communal washer and dryer for the entire complex. The issue is not that it is communal but that there is only one of each and you must have quarters. Trying to get change was a bit of a challenge, probably due to the coin shortage, so come prepared. The last night we were there, we could not get the washer and dryer until after 11pm because of the mass use, so try and plan your washing time wisely. Other than that the place was exactly what we needed for our week long vacation. I only suggest the place to get more washers and dryers and maybe a couple new couches, but other than that it was spot on.
