It was a beautiful house.
The house was beautiful. We loved our stay there. We will most definitely do it again. The neighborhood was quiet. We had problems with the AC we called manager they had someone come out to look at it and fix it. This was our first time ever staying in house in Florida. It was a excellent experience.
Beautiful Home with some caveats
This is a large, beautiful home with a pool - perfect for a family stay in Orange Tree. There were a few small cosmetic problems (torn screens on the lanai, and broken door to the backyard off the patio,) but very nice considering the price. My 5 year old literally wept when it came time to leave.
We did, however, have a little difficulty with the management/ maintenance company. Read below if you are interested in details, but in summary: beautiful house, but may have broken laundry units and sub optimal communication from the management company.
When arriving, we noticed the tub and washing machine were not draining- not a big deal. We called the number provided to request maintenance fix the issues. Next day a maintenance guy came by and fixed the tub, but was unable to fix the washing machine. Later in the evening a Sears delivery notice was on the front door. We figured the maintenance guy had ordered a part for the washing machine and had to leave prior to delivery. I left a message with exec villas to let them know. No response.
The next day Sears arrives again with a delivery, but demanded a co-pay of $75 from us. Their driver was pretty upset for coming to deliver several times without any communication from whomever placed the order. We refused to pay and he refused to deliver. On top of that, he was delivering a dryer (not a washer.)
We called exec villas twice to sort it out. The first time they replied “we’ll make a note of it” and the second time the told my wife they had no idea who even called Sears to begin with. No attempt to help with the broken laundry machines after that.
Suffice to say we didn’t want to deal with angry servicemen or management companies while on vacation, so we did our laundry elsewhere.
A few days later, the master bedroom doorknob fell off in my hand. I opted to fix it myself rather than call the management company again.
Very nice home, everything was clean including the pool. Only thing I would suggest is to change a few of the beds, not too comfy. I have stayed at multiple vrbo properties that have been fully stocked with spices, dishes, toiletries and cleaning supplies. It wouldn't hurt to just provide some small cleaning supplies for renters to help tidy up as opposed for visitors buying products they either have to leave or throw away when they depart. Again just a few suggestions but nonetheless our stay was pleasant and we enjoyed Florida! Thank you.
