I have been renting condos at Coral Reef Condos for the past 35 years. We have always had a good experience, with clean, well-kept condos. 204 looked like a nice place to stay, but when we arrived it was one problem after another. The place initially smelled musty and old, the kitchen was dirty with greasy cabinets, and the dishes, pots and pans were all dirty. We spent the first day cleaning the kitchen, dishes, etc. Went to use the master shower and the shower head exploded throwing chunks of plastic and little bbs at me. Guest bath vent fan started to make noise and smoke came out of it when you turned on the light. Furniture looked nice in photos, but everything was worn, marred and chipped. Owner did arrange for a plumber and electrician to come and fix things, but plumber never showed up, so we wasted two days of our vacation waiting for repairs that didn't happen - could only use one bathroom. Owner did refund $200 and told us to go out for supper for the trouble, but that was hardly adequate for us losing two days of our vacation and the use of the master bath. Overall, it was the worst condo experience I've had at Coral Reef in the past 35 years. One plus was that the master bed was fairly comfortable, but the guest room twins were more narrow than usual and did not accommodate for a good night's sleep. Owner seemed very nice, but an absentee landlord who did not supervise and maintain the place very well. We could have stayed at Hilton for less $$$
