We really enjoyed our stay here. Lots of space and perfect for our group of 7. Great hospitality!
Jenn and her group were very nice and clean guest, My sister passed away when I was to meet them when they arrived , but I never . No problem they settled right in without me. Great people
Great stay. Great host.
Our daughter was getting married in the area. We rented this property for our whole family to stay. Richard was a very accommodating and interesting host. Even in the wake of the storm. He gave us lots of information of the area. The house was well equipped and decorated. I wish I would have had more time to read some of the books of history that were in the house. The location was right up our alley, on a dead end street in a rural ish area. It is centeally located to Halifax and the Annapolis Valley. The view from the house, of the Minus Basin was very picturesque. I highly recommend this property.
It was a great stay and I enjoyed visiting with Richard.
Million dollar view
Spectacular view of Blomidon and the Evangeline marsh from this property. Accommodations were great, eclectic, and comfortable. Very personable and interesting owners. We will be back next year.
The Milo's were a very friendly couple .They kept the place clean and tidy
and will be welcome to stay here any time.
Picturesque water view.
Great location for day trips. Our house had plenty of supplies and nicely decorated. Comfortable 5 bedrooms for 5 guests with 2 bathrooms. Richard was most accommodating. Also had excellent weather.
Would highly recommend this rental.
5 Very nice ladies. The house was left very clean , and I would
recommend renting to them without a thought. They are welcome
here anytime.. Richard
The property was filled with a lot of weird personal items. The beds had random and odd bedding with no mattress pads to protect the mattresses. The rugs were filthy. The shower had been soddered in one position so you could not adjust the temperature of the shower. Not enough hot water. Toilets flushed 1/2 the time. The towels stunk. The whole house smelt moldy! We stayed two nights and had to leave. It was unsettling!
I would like to know, would anybody bring their family into a pigpen like that. After spending one night they brought 5 members
of her family to stay the second night. They left the 3rd day without letting me know until late that night with this email ( Richard please send us $600 refund to bryjan@--------.--- for the remaining 5 nights. We will be submitting a very real and unfavourable review to Homeaway as well as making an official complaint. The filthy rugs, lack of proper bedding and protective mattress covers. The very inadequate plumbing including unadjustable temp on shower, lack of hot water and non flushing toilets! This property was not in good repair. If we have not received the email transfer of funds in 2 days we will go into action! ) This is my 3dr year and had only positive marks. The shower has one knob , up one side or the other, simple. Richard (owner)
Roomy home with a view.
This is a nice home in a very quiet area. I picked it to hold the family. Lots of rooms, lots of character and plenty of room for socializing.
The view was awesome, looking over the basin with Blomidon in the back. Even watched the tide come in.
I had a very short trip but if you’re staying any length of time, it's a very good home base. Everything is relatively close.
I'm a big fan of supporting local especially if they ship. Grand Pre and Gaspereau wineries are minutes away. Evangeline café was just up the road. Even visited Tangled Garden and Barrelling Tide Distillery; they ship :)
So happy I found this place.
